Bourne Vale Allotments is a wonderful oasis in the heart of Hayes, Bromley. There are nearly 100 plots tended by a group of friendly local growers.
We are opening our gates on to raise funds for St. Christopher’s Hospice and to replace our ageing club room. We hope visitors will enjoy seeing first-hand the benefits of allotments – from homegrown produce, to being outdoors and working alongside like-minded people. Visitors will see wonderfully diverse styles of gardening with fruit, vegetables and flowers together with creative upcycling! We support biodiversity and many members have incorporated ponds and grow plants that tempt pollinators on to their plots. We have also recently installed bat boxes.
Sunday 6th September between 2 – 4pm

Cost – entry by donation and all proceeds go to St. Christophers Hospice
Refreshments – Tea coffee and a selection of home-made cakes.
Facilities – there is one compostable WC
Parking – surrounding streets
